Shizuoka Prefecture Police arrest a mother and her boyfriend, on suspicion of throwing boiling water over two girls

Shizuoka Prefecture Police arrested the suspect, Masaki Yamanashi (36) who is unemployed and lives in Shimo-Oda, Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture and Yuka Nakano (30) who is also unemployed and lives in Hirashima, Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, on suspicion of causing injury on June 29th. Police say that the suspects threw the boiling water over the mother's two daughters at their home in Fujieda City between July and August in 2009 causing burns on the upper half of their bodies which required 3 months for a complete recovery. According to the police, the suspects were a couple at the time the incident occurred.
