Cigarette burns found on whole body of 4-year-old child killed by abuse
On the 26th it was revealed that the suspect Rie Kinjo (unemployed) who was arrested on suspicion of causing the death of her four-year-old boy in Beppu City in Oita Prefecture, confessed that she had poured hot water from a kettle onto him and pressed a lit cigarette against him.
According to a source involved in the investigation, there were signs of scalds from the head to the back on the victim. Traces of cigarette burns were found over the whole body.
