Since 2006, the number of child abuse cases has increased 5 years in a row to 354 cases.
It was reviewed on February 24th that the number of child abuse case prosecuted in the whole country in 2010 was 354 which was 19 cases more than the previous year. The number of child abuse has increased for the past 5 years in a row since 2006.

It was remarkable that 40 percent of the cases were committed by people (foster father or stepfather or mother's common law husband)@unrelated by blood.
